Who is Kathy?
-- Farm girl, farm wife, farm mother of two children
-- Beadle County 4-H Alumni
-- Descendant (or relative) of many families in Beadle and Clark Counties.

My career background:
-- Computer programmer from Dakota State University
-- Medication Aide while attending Dakota State University
-- Sales associate at JC Penny while attending Dakota State University
---- My first website paid for my husband's wedding ring.
- Started my advertising business in 2011.
-- Agronomy Bookkeeper, seed warehouse attendant (Yep, counted and tossed bags) - truck dispatch experience along with data entry of the plot data.
-- Crop Adjuster and Crop Call Center Representative (Yep, I made the hard phone calls after a weather storm or a non-insurable cause of loss.)
-- Health and Life Coach - since 2020
-- Mental Health First Aider - since 2023
- Started my full-service business 'Today Forward Consulting' in 2024
-- Genealogy Historian and Researcher (since I was a teenager)

When we run into each other again, don’t be surprised if one of us says, “You look so familiar—how do I know you?” I’m at that season of life where I’m not only known as Jim and Marilyn’s daughter, Vicki, Joseph, or Teresa’s sister, or Matt Micheel’s wife... but more and more, it’s: “Hey—aren’t you Kaitlyn or Tucker’s mom?”
